Ghana and Hansa Rostock defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh has resumed training his teammates at the club's training grounds after nearly two months on the sidelines with injury, according to Footballmadeinghana.com sources.
The 27-year-old got injured during his side's 3-1 win over Fortuna Köln on October 27 and have not played since.
The right-back who joined the Hanseaten from English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan, trained with his teammates on Wednesday and could make a return to the squad this weekend when Hansa Rostock host Energie Cottbus at the Ostseestadion on Saturday.
The German-born Ghanaian footballer has featured in five games, assisting one goal so far this term.
He has previously played for SV Wilhelmshaven, FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt, VfR Aalen, Eintracht Braunschweig.
On 20 June 2017, he signed a three-year deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers, however, on 31 August 2018, Ofosu-Ayeh joined Hansa Rostock on loan until the end of 2018–19 season.
On 13 October 2015, Ofosu-Ayeh made his full international debut for Ghana, in a friendly against Canada played in Washington, D.C.
