Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah played his final game for Torino ahead of an imminent move to English Championship side Birmingham City.

Birmingham are reported to have tabled in a bid of 9 million Euros for the Ghanaian, who was involved in what could be his final serie A game as Torino drew 1-1 with Bologna in the season’s opener.

Acquah has been a long time target for Birmingham’s boss Harry Redknapp who has not hidden his admiration for the 25 year old.

According Italian news outlet Toro.it, a meeting between Torino and Birmingham will be held on Tuesday to finalize the move.

Acquah revealed he desire to move to England after following the club on Social Media, raising some eyebrows.

Meanwhile, the midfielder’s departure is likely to see another Ghanaian move to Torino, as the Turin outfit are still eyeing Bologna’s Godfred Donsah.
