RCD Mallorca midfield enforcer, Baba Iddrisu has set his sight on helping the Black Stars of Ghana win the CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The midfielder last year earned his maiden call-up to the male senior national team of the Black Stars and now looks like he will be a regular for the team.

Speaking to Spanish outfit Tornarem, the combative midfielder has opened up on his ambition with the Black Stars.

According to him, he wants to win the AFCON title with his national team or at least get to play in the finals of the continental showpiece.

“I’m looking forward to another level, getting to another level in my career.

“I want to either win a trophy or at least get to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations,” the midfielder shared.

He continued, “I also want to achieve something with my club [Mallorca] or whichever club I find myself.”

Ahead of Ghana’s next AFCON qualification matches in March this year, Baba Iddrisu hopes to be fit and in good shape to merit an invite to play for his national team.
