Ghana Premier League Matchday 10 preview: Eleven Wonders v King Faisal

Published on: 14 February 2020

King Faisal are yet to record a win in the Ghana Premier League and they aim to change that as they travel to Techiman to face Eleven Wonders.

Eleven Wonders pulled off a massive win matchday 9. They recorded a 2-1 victory over Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium, their first win on the road this season.

Their home form has been average so far with two wins amassed in four games (W2 L2). The Techiman-based outfit are currently in 12th place with 10 points but their goal difference provides some worries.

They have scored just six goals whilst conceding 10 in total which shows that something needs to be done on both ends of the pitch. They will aim to spark a significant change when they host King Faisal on Friday.

King Faisal have been in terrible form since the start of the campaign. They are the only team yet to clinch a victory among the top-flight sides after nine games.

The Insha Allah boys’ frustration compounded after failing to take all three points at home to WAFA on matchday 9.

The Kumasi-based side are currently at the bottom of the log with just four points accumulated. They have conceded 20 goals, the highest in the league but have been good offensively, scoring 12 goals- the joint second highest in the competition.

They will aim to finally clinch their first victory as they travel to Techiman to face Eleven Wonders. The two teams will square off for the first time in the competition.
