Ghana Premier League matchday 11 report: Medeama claims big away win over Inter Allies

Medeama managed to claim a narrow 2-1 victory over Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The Mauve and Yellows got off to a fantastic start in the opening stages of the game. Nana Kofi Babil found the net in the 15th minute to give Samuel Boadu’s club the advantage.

Victorien Adebayor tried to make things happen in the first half but was unable to get a goal as Medeama went into the break with an advantage.

The visitors piled on the pressure in the second half and was rewarded with a goal in the 63rd minute. Their main striker Prince Opoku Agyemang managed to get one past the Inter Allies goalkeeper to make it a two goal cushion.

Victorien Adebayor got a consolation goal in the 89th minute but it proved too little too late as Medeama held on and get the result in the end.
