AshantiGold made a huge comeback to record a 2-1 win over Karela United in Tarkwa on Sunday afternoon.

The two teams created some opportunities in the first half but none managed to find the opener.
In the second half, Karela started brightly and got a goal through Diawisie Taylor in the 66th minute.
AshantiGold pushed back and got their equalizer four minutes later. Ibrahim Samed pushed forward to get the goal for the visitors.

They did not end there. Benedict Wobenu completed the comeback for the Obuasi-based side in the 71st minute.
Karela search for an equalizer but AshantiGold held on and got the victory, ending their three game winless streak.
