The 19-year-old has been out of action for his outfit since mid-February due to a back injury.

He missed the Black Stars crucial World Cup play-off against Nigeria where Ghana edged past the Super Eagles to secure qualification.

Having recovered from his long injury layoff weeks ago, the former FC Nordjaelland star made his first appearance for Rennes junior side as they beat Dinan-Léhon.

Kamaldeen played a huge role last Saturday as his outfit inflicted a 3-1 win over their opponent.

His return comes as a huge boost for the Black Stars ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ghana will play host to Madagascar on June 1 before traveling to Central Africa Republic for their second game in Group E.
