Ghana star Mohammed Kudus boldly confronts Ajax coach over lack of playing time

Mohammed Kudus has held a meeting with Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder to discuss his future due to lack of playing time in the ongoing Dutch Eredivisie season.

The 22-year-old has not started any game this season, coming off the bench in all three games in the Dutch topflight this season.

His role from the bench has left the former FC Nordsjaelland player frustrated and there are reports Everton could sign him on loan before the window shuts.

Kudus met with Alfred Schreuder three times last week to ask questions about his bench role.

"We spoke with him 3 times because he also thinks he should play," said Schreuder to Voetbal International after the game between Ajax and Sparta.

"Of course, I see that he is disappointed now and then. That is also good and normal. It is about whether you can control that emotion for the team. He handles that well," he added.

The former Right to Dream Academy forward came on as a second-half substitute in the 1-0 victory on the road, playing the final twenty minutes.

Mohammed Kudus has an outstanding pre-season, scoring three goals in three games before netting the Dutch Super Cup game against PSV.
