Ghana star Mohammed Kudus nominated for Premier League Player of The Month for December

Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus has been nominated for Premier League Player of The Month for December.

The 23-year-old has been on superb form for the Hammers following his move from Ajax during the summer transfer.

Kudus in December made six appearances and scored four goals. In those games, West Ham United recorded four wins, one draw and a defeat.

The former FC Nordsjaelland attacker inspired David Moyes' side to victories over Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United and Wolves as the Hammers moved into the top six.

Following his superb outing, the Ghana attacker has been nominated for the award.

However, Kudus will fight his way out to beat Trent Alexander Arnold, Matheus Cunha, Michael Olise, Cole Palmer, Marcos Senesi, Dominic Solanke and Son Heung-min.

Mohammed Kudu has made 24 appearances for the London-based club in all competitions and has scored 10 goals with an assist.

West Ham will certainly miss the Ghanian during his exploits at this month's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which will be held in Ivory Coast.

Mohammed Kudus is expected to team up with the rest of the Black Stars squad later today in Kumasi to continue their preparations.
