Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo scores on Bristol City return to seal 3-1 win against Wycombe

Ghana international, Antoine Semenyo climbed off the Bristol City bench on Wednesday to score for the team in the 3-1 Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers.

The player was named in his team’s matchday squad today for the EFL Cup Second Round match.

In the game against Wycombe, Bristol City took the lead after just seven minutes into the first half when Dylan Kadji equalised with a fine strike.

Four minutes into the second half, Ali A-Ahmadi scored to restore parity for Wycombe.

Later in the half, fit-again Antoine Semenyo was introduced into the game in the 70th minute to help the visitors chase the win.

In injury time, the talented striker equalised with a good finish to seal a 3-1 win for his team.

Before that goal though, Kane Wilson had scored in the 77th minute to restore Bristol City’s lead from the first half.
