Ghana international, Inaki Williams was in action for Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night when the team locked horns with Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga.
The forward started for his team in the Round 25 match of the ongoing Spanish top-flight league season.
In a game where Inaki Williams played up top to as his team’s striker, he was a torn in the flesh of the Barcelona defenders.
At the end of a fierce clash in the first half, Barcelona had the lead courtesy of a strike from Raphinha.
After recess, a cagey encounter ensued between the two teams in the push to secure the maximum three points.
It was, however, Athletic Bilbao that threatened more and came closest to scoring.
In fact, the team scored in the 88th minute when Ghana striker Inaki Williams found the back of the Barcelona net with a thumping effort.
Unfortunately, for Athletic Bilbao, the goal was disallowed after a VAR review which adjudged that there was a handball in the buildup.
Eventually, Barcelona secured the three points with a narrow 1-0 win.
