Ghana striker Majeed Waris eager to make UEFA CL debut for Porto against Liverpool

Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris is eager to make his champions League debut for new club FC Porto in the last 16 on Wednesday evening. 

The forward, who joined the Portuguese side in the winter is set for selection toinight, after he was added to the roaster for the Champions League.

Majeed Waris joined the Portuguese giants on a short-term deal from French Club Lorient, the Ghanaian is however  eligible to feature for the former UEFA Champions League winners.

Waris can’t wait to have a feel of Champions League football.

“Honestly speaking, it’ll be a great feeling and a big challenge as It’s the best competition in football likewise playing against the best teams and tonight’s game against Liverpool wouldn’t be an exception,” he said.

The game kicks off at exactly 19:45 GMT at the Estádio do Dragão tonight.
