Ghanaian attacker William Owusu scored his third goal of the season to inspire his Ajman FC side to come back from behind to beat Al Nasr 3-1 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) top-flight.

The two clubs locked horns in a match week 2 fixture on Thursday evening at the Ajman Stadium looking to continue their good start to the Arabian Gulf League season.

At the end of an entertaining match, Ajman FC emerged victorious even though Al Nasr enjoyed the better of possession and also had the highest number of shots at goal.

Bradley Kuwas gave the losers the lead just 23 minutes into the first half but it was canceled shortly after courtesy a well-taken strike from Ghanaian striker William Owusu.

Two more goals from Hussain Abdulrahman and Vander Viera were enough to seal the victory for the Orange Brigade, ensuring they amassed all 3 points.

William Owusu who joined the club from Belgian side Royal Antwerp in the summer transfer window on a free transfer now has 3 goals to his name after playing two matches.

That tally could increase if he manages to maintain his current form in subsequent matches.
