Ghana target Tariq Lamptey has been called up to the England U21 squad

Tariq Lamptey, a Ghana target, has been recalled by England's men's under-21s for this month's two EURO qualifiers.

The Brighton and Hove Albion defender, along with Liverpool's Harvey Elliot and Curtis Jones, returns to the England U21 team.

Despite having represented England at the junior level, he has yet to play for the Three Lions, putting the 21-year-old defender is available to represent Ghana.

Andorra will pay England Mens U21s a visit to AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium on Friday 25 March (7.45 pm kick-off), with tickets for the 2023 UEFA European U21 Championship Qualification Group G fixture still available.

Tariq Lamptey joined Brighton and Hove Albion from Chelsea FC in the summer of 2020 for a reported fee of 3.3 million euros.

The 21-year-old defender has played 22 games in the Premier League and assisted two goals for Brighton and Hove Albion.
