The Asian side just like Ghana took advantage of the September international break to play two pre-tournament-friendly games.
In the first match against Costa Rica, South Korea labored and scored late to secure a 2-2 draw against the opponent.
Last Tuesday, the Asian national team returned to action in a match against Cameroon.
On the matchday, South Korea put up a good display and scored through poster boy Son Heung min to win by a goal to nil.
The results have given South Korea a feel-good factor and confidence ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Besides Ghana and South Korea, Group H of the world cup also has two-time champions Uruguay, and European giant Portugal.
