Ghana international, Bernard Tekpetey was in action for Ludogorets on Thursday night when the club started their campaign in the 2023/24 Uefa Europa Conference League.
The winger started in the attack of the Hungarian team in their bid to record a win at home.
In the game against FC Spartak Trnava, both teams played well in the first half but neither side could get on the scoresheet.
After recess, Ludogorets scored in the first minute of the second half thanks to good work by Bernard Tekpetey to set up Ivan Yordanov to get his name on the scoresheet.
Four minutes later, Jakub Piotrowski also scored to make things worse for FC Spartak Trnava in the contest.
Shortly after that goal, Jakub Piotrowski was assisted by Bernard Tekpetey for his second goal of the game before Rwan Cruz also scored to seal a 4-0 win for Ludogorets at the end of the 90 minutes.
