Ghana winger Frank Acheampong on target for Henan FC in win over Zhejiang Professional

Ghana international Frank Acheampong was on target for Henan FC in their 2-1 home win over Zhejiang Professional in the Chinese Super League.

The former Black Stars winger was called to action on Sunday when his outfit hosted Zhejiang Professional in the week 24 of the top-flight.

Acheampong delivered an outstanding performance to help Henan FC cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points at stake.

Henan FC were handed an early scare after Leonardo gave Zhejiang Professional the lead after just four minutes into the game.

However, the home team responded in the 22nd minute mark through the Ghanaian international after he was set up by Bruno Nazario.

Before the halftime break, Henan FC found the back of the net again through Zichang Huang to extend their lead in the game.

And with no additional goal in the second half, the host cruised to victory to secure maximum points.

Acheampong lasted 79 minutes before he was replaced by Yihao Zhong in the game.

He has racked up three goals and provided two assists in 20 games since joining the club.

The 30-year-old forward Joined Henan FC in February 2024. His contract with the club will elapse in December 2025.
