Ghana international Joseph Paintsil has reacted following KRC Genk’s stalemate against St. Truiden in the Belgium top-flight.

Paintsil was subbed off on stoppage time in his outfit 1-1 draw against their opponent at the Daio Wasabi Stayen Stadium on Sunday.

The pacey Ghanaian winger returned to club football after a disappointing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Genk opened the scoring after just two minutes into the game through Collins Sor after connecting from Alieu Fadera pass. The visitors went to recess with the advantage.

But Ryotaro Ito ensured the home team snatch at least a point after netting the equalizer on stoppage time.

Paintsil has, however, reacted to his side away draw against St. Truiden whiles he turns attention to the clubs next game.

“Derby draw. Eyes on the next one.🔵⚪” he wrote on X.

The Ghanaian winger will hope to continue his fine for Genk in the ongoing campaign.
