Ghana international Osman Bukari has made a return to Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade to join the team in pre-season preparation ahead of the new season.

The Black Stars winger who enjoyed an amazing debut season with the club has returned to Serbia following a short break in Ghana.

Bukari spent some days in the West African country after his involvement in the Black Stars penultimate AFCON qualifier stalemate against Madagascar this month.

After joining his teammates, the 24-year-old went through various drills as he worked on his fitness under the supervision of the club's physical trainer.

The winger missed his side first preseason friendly win against Serbian lower-tier club, GFK Sloboda Uzice last Monday. Red Star Belgrade defeated their opponent 3-1.

Meanwhile, compatriot Edmund Addo who recently joined the club was involved in the clash.

The former Accra Lions player helped the Serbian giants win the treble and also secure qualification to the UEFA Champions League next season.

Bukari joined compatriot Edmund Addo, who switched from Spartak Subotica to Red Star in the summer transfer window.

The Ghanaian duo are expected to play an important role at the club in the 2023/24 season.
