Ghana winger Samuel Owusu featured for Al Ahli in their 2-1 win over Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League table on Sunday.
Owusu put up an impressive performance as he helped his side to go level on points with Al Hilal at the top of the league table, having played one game more.
After a goalless first-half, Al Ahli opened the scoring through Mohammed Al Fatil in the 58th minute after receiving an assist from Alexandru Mitriță.
But there was late drama when Etiffaq bagged the equaliser from the penalty from the spot in the 93rd minute through Tunisia forward Naim Sliti.
Al-Ahli immediately responded with the winner through Sultan Mandash.
The 24-year-old lasted for 89 minutes at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium before being replaced by Mohammed Al Khabrani.
Owusu has been a key cog of the team since joining them in the summer transfer window from Al-Fayha.
He has made 10 appearances for Al Ahli, scored three goals and provided one assist so far this season.
