Ghanaian defender Carlos Ohene joins Bulgarian club Hebar Pazardzhik

Ghanaian footballer Carlos Ohene has completed a move to Bulgarian top-flight side Hebar Pazardzhik, marking a new chapter in his professional career.

The 29-year-old defender joins the club on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with CSKA 1948 Sofia on June 30, 2023.

Having previously played for clubs in Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, and Bulgaria, Ohene brings a wealth of experience to his new team.

In the recently concluded 2022/23 season, he made 17 appearances for CSKA Sofia and an additional 8 games for their team B, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the sport.

Ohene arrived in Bulgaria during the 2021/22 season, joining Tsarsko Selo before his transfer to CSKA Sofia.

Prior to his time in Bulgaria, he had stints with Alki Larnaca, AEL Limassol, and Beroe, showcasing his ability to adapt to different footballing environments.

Carlos Ohene started out at Madina Youth and Welfare Stars in his home country of Ghana before heading to Europe in 2011 with Alki Larnaca.
