Ghanaian defender Derrick Kohn grabs assist in Hannover's draw with Elversberg

In a thrilling clash at the URSAPHARM-Arena an der Kaiserlinde, German-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Köhn showcased his playmaking skills, delivering a crucial assist that shaped Hannover's intense battle against Elversberg in the German Bundesliga 2.

The match, held on a Saturday afternoon, unfolded with remarkable moments of goals.

Köhn, a key figure in Hannover's defensive lineup, started the game with determination and kill throughout his 82-minute presence on the pitch.

The eighth minute saw a masterful play orchestrated by Köhn, as he delivered a precise cross following a corner. Nicolò Tresoldi of Hannover 96 capitalized on this opportunity with a powerful header from the right side of the six-yard box, finding the back of the net and setting the tone for an electrifying encounter.

The seesaw of goals continued as Elversberg responded, with Jannik Rochelt delivering a right-footed shot in the 57th minute, skillfully assisted by Luca Schnellbacher.

The teams remained deadlocked until the 60th minute when Frederik Jäkel, courtesy of a set-piece situation, unleashed a left-footed shot into the high center of the goal, putting Elversberg back in contention.
