Ghanaian defender Konadu Yiadom arrived in Ukraine on Wednesday morning to kick start his career with FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih.

The enterprising defender touched down in the Eastern European country early Wednesday and is expected to link up with new club.

Konadu sealed a season-long loan in September 2023 from Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak but had to wait, due to challenges in obtaining travel documentation, he was unable to make the transition to Ukraine last year.

After almost five-months, the former WAFA defender has finally arrive in Ukraine to begin his adventure with FC Kryvbas Kryvyi.

The former Black Galaxies defender made a huge impact in the domestic top-flight during his spell with both WAFA and Hearts of Oak.

Last season, he made 20 appearances for Hearts of Oak, scoring two goals in the process for the club.

He was part of the Black Galaxies squad that represented Ghana at the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria, where the West African outfit bowed out at quarterfinals after defeat to Niger.

Kryvbas, currently enjoying a remarkable season, are positioned second in the Ukrainian Premier League standings with 43 points after 21 matches, striving for continental football next season.

The towering defender will team up with compatriot Prince Kwabena Adu, who joined the club in September last year.
