Ghana and Gaziantep FK pair Aziz Tetteh and Yusif Chibsah suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Fenerbahce in the Turkish Supalig opener on Monday.

Goals from Nigerian winger Victor Moses, Verdat Muriqi and Emre Belozoglu gave Fenerbahce a 3-o lead into the first-half at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

Gaziantep coach Marius Sumudica replaced Chibsah with Senegal international Souleymane Diarra in the 57th minute of the game.

Despite the change, the away side conceded two more goals courtesy Nabil Dirar and Ferdi Kardioglu strikes in the 74th and 88th minute respectively.

Tetteh picked up a booking but lasted the entire duration of the game.

Patrick Twumasi, who travelled with the team for the match was left out of the final squad for the game.

Chibsah and Tetteh joined the club on three-year deals from Frosinone Calcio and Dinamo Moscow respectively while Twumasi joined on a season-long loan from Deportivo Alaves in the summer transfer window.
