Ghanaian forward Eric Ayiah has shared his excitement after inspiring CD Trofense to victory in the Portuguese third-tier at the weekend.

Ayiah was handed a starting role when his side cruised to a 2-0 home win over Felgueiras 1932.

The former Ghana youth star broke the deadlock for Trofense, one minute to the halftime break. The home team went to recess with the advantage.

Trofense sealed the victory in the second half after Berma had hit the back of the net in the 62nd minute mark.

Ayiah was adjudged the Man of the Match following his explosive display for his outfit.

“You can keep me down only for a few moments but I will still get up. Two ⚽️⚽️ in two and I’m only getting started in here. +3 to top it off. A goal, win and MOTM award. We can only dream of getting better from here!” He wrote on X.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian forward has now scored two goal in four games for Trofense in the Portuguese third-tier.

Ayiah joined Trofense in October 2023, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until 2025
