Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Opoku reacts after scoring in CF Montreal’s stalemate against FC Cincinnati

Ghanaian international Kwadwo Opoku Mahala has reacted after scoring to help his CF Montreal outfit secure a point against FC Cincinnati in the Major League Soccer.

The 22-year-old started and lasted 78 minutes in their 1-1 home stalemate against their opponent on Wednesday.

Despite creating scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to break the deadlock in the first half, and it ended in a pulsating goalless draw.

However, the Ghanaian international rose to the occasion and shot his side into the lead with a stunning strike in the 53rd minute from outside the box.

The host were cruising to victory until Argentine international Luciano Acosta restored parity in stoppage time for FC Cincinnati

Opoku has now scored three goals in seven appearances for Montreal in the MLS this season. He scored twice in 19 games for Los Angeles FC before moving to Montreal.
