Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora has shared his excitement after helping FC Petrocub to secure an emphatic win over Dacia Buiucani in the Moldovan Super Liga Championship playoff.
Abalora, who is on loan from FC Sheriff, played the entire 90 minutes as his outfit inflicted a resounding 3-0 win over their opponent on Sunday.
After keeping a clean sheet to help his side secure victory, the former Asante Kotoko shot stopper took to social media to commend his teammates for their great performance.
“Happy with the win. +3 Clean sheet” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Moldavan international Sergiu Platica shot the home team into the lead in the 22nd minute before his compatriot Maxim Potirniche extended the lead for his side in the 41st minute. FC Petrocub went to the halftime break with the advantage.
The host continued the demolishing of Dacia Buiucani after Dan Puscas found the back of the net in the second half of the game to seal victory.
Notably, fellow Ghanaians David Abagna and Seidu Basit also played a crucial role in the team's triumph.
Abagna lasted 61 minutes for Petrocub whiles Seidu Basit made substitute appearance for the side.
The 27-year-old Ghanaian goalkeeper has been impressive since joining Petrocub from Sheriff Tiraspol.
