Ghana and US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan provided his fourth assist of the season for his side as they suffered a 4-1 defeat against Atalanta in the Italian Serie A on Saturday.

Duncan was handed a starting berth by manager Roberto De Zerbi’s side and once again as he put an impressive performance by registering another assist in their match day six fixture.

Sassuolo started the game poorly and paid dearly for it as the visitors went up 4-0 before half time courtesy goals from Duvan Zapata, Robin Gosens and Alejandro Gomez’s brace.

Manager De Zerbi made a few tactical adjustment after the break and his side were able to grab a consolation goal through Gregoire Defrel who latched on to a pass from Duncan before unleashing a stunning effort into the left corner.

The 26-year-old was on of the standout players for the Neroverdi.

He has featured in four games for US Sassuolo, scored one goal and provided four assists in the on-going 2019/20 season.
