In a thrilling encounter in the German Bundesliga 2, Eintracht Braunschweig emerged victorious over Paderborn 07 with a final score of 2-1.

The winning goal came courtesy of a brilliant assist by German-born Ghanaian midfielder Anton Donkor, who played a pivotal role in securing the three points for his team.

The game played at the Home Deluxe Arena, saw Donkor starting and playing the entire match. The head-to-head record between the two sides was evenly poised before the game, with Paderborn 07 having five wins, Eintracht Braunschweig four, and four matches ending in a draw.

The first goal of the game came in the 59th minute when Hasan Kuruçay of Eintracht Braunschweig converted a penalty with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. However, Paderborn 07 quickly equalized two minutes later through a stunning right-footed shot from outside the box by Adriano Grimaldi.

As the game seemed to be heading towards a draw, Donkor stepped up to make a difference. In the 80th minute, he provided a perfectly timed assist to Rayan Philippe, who scored with a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner.

Anton Donkor has played 25 games, scored two goals and assisted one in the league this season.
