Ghana and Esperance midfielder Kwame Bonsu is set to join an unknown Chinese Super League side in the upcoming January transfer window, according to reports.

Bonsu is expected to move to a Chinese side after reports indicate the Tunisian giants are in advance negotiations with a club in the Super League.

The 25-year-old has been one of the influential players for the Blood and Golds, helping the side in the Tunisian league as well as the CAF Champions League.

Bonsu returned to Ghana in 2018 after spells in Sweden to join Asante Kotoko, guiding them to reach the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup last season.

He also helped coach C.K Akonnor's side to win the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Special Competition, beating Karela United in the final.

His impressive displays earned him his first Black Stars call-up.
