Swedish side Vasteras have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Lawson Sabah from rivals AFC Eskilstuna in the ongoing transfer window.

Sabah has penned a season-long loan deal with the club.

"AFC Eskilstuna has agreed on a loan of Lawson Sabah to Vasteras SK for the rest of the season," Eskilstuna said in a statement on Wednesday night.

"Lawson, who belonged to IFK Gothenburg and came to AFC from Linkoping before the season, wants more playing time and we wish him luck in VSK.

"Thank you for this time and we say welcome back to the 2022 season!"

The 20-year-old Ghanaian has only figured five games in the Superettan this season.

Sabah, whose contract expires in 2022, has previously belonged to the all-Swedish big club IFK Gothenburg.
