Sweden-based Ghanaian midfielder, Michael Baidoo was scouted on Tuesday evening when he scored a brace for Elfsborg in the team’s big win over AIK.

On the matchday, Black Stars gaffer Chris Hughton was in the stands at the Boras Arena to watch the midfielder.

Speaking after the game, Michael Baidoo said he is delighted he has caught the attention of the Ghana national team head coach.

"There are so many Ghanaians in the Allsvenskan, so it's fun that they come here and want to see us. I am so happy, " the in-form midfielder said as quoted by Newspaper Boras Tidning.

Michael Baidoo has been in superb form this season and continues to shine with goalS and assists for his team.

Playing alongside compatriots Wolji Jalal Abdulai and Emmanuel Okyere Boateng, Michael Baidoo is helping IF Elfsborg in the club’s bid to win the Swedish Allsvenskan title.

So far the team is on course as the side sits top of the league log.
