Ghanaian midfielder Raman Chibsah unfazed by Black Stars snub

Raman Chibsah has revealed he is not worried after he was left out of coach Kwesi Appiah's squad for the upcoming 2019 Afcon qualifiers against Ethiopia, however, he has set sights on helping his club Frosinone, improve upon their league form.

The Canarini Ciociari have picked five points from their last nine and have made it four consecutive games unbeaten in the 2018/19 season having impressed in their 1-1 stalemate with Fiorentina on Friday night.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been one of Ghana's consistent performers in Europe so far this term making 12 appearances and scoring once for the Italian side.

Chibsah is not concerned by the recent snub but believes he will earn a call-up soon if he keeps on putting n good performance for his club.

Meanwhile, the only thing on his mind is to help his side stay up in the Seria A.

He told classfmonline.com, ” My greatest focus is playing well and achieving positive results in our subsequent games. As for a call-up into the senior national team, I know that so far as I keep putting in good performances for my club, I will definitely get a call-up sooner or later God willing. For now, though, my only target is to accomplish the assignment ahead of me in the Serie A”.

He put up an outstanding performance once again in Frosinone’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Friday night.

He played the full throttle of the game, impressing with his tough tackling, decent passing ranges and brilliant composure on and off the ball.

Chibsah joined Frosinone in a season-long loan move from Sassuolo on 6 July 2015.

On 15 July 2016, he was signed by Serie B side Benevento on loan, winning the promotion playoffs to Serie A. Benevento also acquired Chibsah outright at the end of the season.

However, on 15 January 2018, Chibsah returned to Frosinone on loan. On 19 June, Chibsah joined Frosinone outright.
