Ghanaian players in Europe were back in action after the international break.

Mohammed Kudus scored and assisted for West Ham in their defeat to Newcastle United to make history for himself.

Ernest Nuamah scored an important equaliser for Lyon, which is his second goal of the season.

Nathan Opoku scored for OH Leuven as they lost to Mechen in Belgium.

Premier League round 30

Mohammed Kudus scored and assisted for West Ham as they gave away a two-goal lead to lose 4-3 against Newcastle. By doing so, he became the highest-scoring Ghanaian for the Hammers with 13 goals, one more than Andre Ayew.

Jordan Ayew came off for Jeffrey Schlupp after the hour mark as Crystal Palace settled for a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Antoine Semenyo featured for Bournemouth in their 2-1 win over Everton.

Tariq Lamptey lasted over 70 minutes for Brighton in their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Thomas Partey was brought on for Arsenal in the last 24 minutes of their goalless draw against Manchester City.

Baba Iddrisu was an unused substitute for Almeria as they lost 3-0 at home to Osasuna are still bottom of the league.

It was another rare start for Abdul Mumin for Rayo Vallecano as they drew goalless against Celta Vigo – only his 13thgame of the season in the Spanish in the top-flight.

Inaki Williams played the entire game as Athletic Club lost 2-0 to Real Madrid on Sunday night.

Bundesliga round 27

There was no Kassim Adams for Hoffenheim as they conceded twice in the last three minutes of the game to lose 2-1 against leaders Beyer Leverkusen.

Christpher Antwi-Adjei lasted over 80 minutes for Bochum while Braydon Manu also played 45 minutes for Darmstadt as they two teams settled for a 2-2 draw.

Ligue 1 round 27

Mohammed Salisu was an unused substitute for AS Mohammed as they beat Metz 5-2, with Benjamin Tetteh also on the bench for the losers.

Nathaniel Adjei played the entire the game as Lorient lost 1-0 at home to Brest.

Andre Ayew lasted the full 90 minutes for Le Havre as they were beaten 2-0 by Montpellier.

Alidu Seidu was an unused substitute for Rennes as they lost 2-0 to Strasbourg.

Ernest Nuamah scored a crucial equaliser for Lyon as they drew 1-1 against Reims.

Alfred Duncan scored for Fiorentina as they secured to a 2-1 loss to AC Milan. Duncan now has two goals and five assists in the season.

Nathan Opoku scored for OH Leuven as they lost 3-2 to KV Mechelen in the Belgium Pro League Europe playoffs.
