Ghanaian trio, Majeed Ashimeru, Samuel Tetteh, and Gideon Mensah have started pre-season training at Red Bull Salzburg ahead of the next football season.

The three players remain contracted to the Austria Bundesliga giants and will hope to be included in the first team at the end of pre-season.

Last season, only Majeed Ashimeru stayed at the club with attacker Samuel Tetteh and Gideon Mensah spending a season-long loan at LASK Linz and Zulte Waregem respectively.

Following good seasons for all players where they contributed immensely with their teams, they are now back for pre-season training with Red Bull Salzburg to prepare for the next season.

With a lot of talent at the club, they are planning to loan or transfer some of the players. Information picked up indicates that a deal is set to be reached for left-back Gideon Mensah.

After that, it is likely Samuel Tetteh will also be sent out on another loan spell. For now, the club wants to see how he performs in pre-season before finalizing anything.

For Majeed Ashimeru, he will stay at Salzburg for the next football season as a key member of the first team.
