German-born Ghanaian striker Charles-Jesaja Herrmann scored in Waldhof Mannheim's 1-1 draw with Viktoria Köln 1904 on Saturday afternoon.

A close game took place, with Donny Bogicevic having the opening shot in the 12th minute, but aiming a bit too far to the right from a distance.
The hosts didn't have much control of the game at first, but following a poor clearing effort by Cologne, they had the chance to take the lead via Kelvin Arase, Christoph Greger was able to divert his shot into a much needed corner in the 15th minute.
However, Viktoria suffered an early blow in the second half as the hosts swiftly switched after reclaiming the ball, and Charles Herrmann chipped the ball over Rauhut into the goal in the 47th minute to make it 1-0.
In the 89th minute, David Philipp equalized for the visitors. After a throw-in, Viktoria's number 10 waited in the penalty area for the ball, which raced past all Mannheim players to the attacking player's foot and into the goal.
Waldhof Mannheim will play Arminia Bielefeld in their next league game.
