Ghanaian striker Daniel Gozar delighted to join South African side Moroka Swallows

Ghanaian striker Daniel Gozar has expressed his excitement after joining newly promoted South African ABSA Premier League side, Moroka Swallows this summer.

The 28-year-old penned a two-year deal with the club after parting ways with Free State Stars.

He scored an impressive 12 goals and registered six assists in 23 games for Free State Stars in the just-ended season and he hopes to hit the ground running at his new club.

"I am glad for the move and it is a dream come true to play in the South African ABSA Premier League,” Gozar told Graphic Sports Online.

"My dream is to improve upon my performance last season and increase my goal tally. As a striker, my job is to score and I will do that for us to win games."

"Swallows are a great team and we will all work together to stay in the league and get to the top."

The former Dreams FC and Ashanti Gold SC striker was courted by many teams, including Mpumalanga Black Aces, ZESCO of Zambia and Swedish Allsvenskan outfit, Falkenberg FF.
