Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom provides assist as Red Star Belgrade thrash Topola

Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom put up an incredible performance and provided an assist in Red Star Belgrade’s 5-0 win over TSC Backa Topola round 16 of the Serbian League.

Boakye-Yiadom, who lasted for 60 minutes was making his first appearance since sustaining an injury under coach Dejan Stankovic.

A hat-trick from Aleksandar Katai scoring a and a goal apiece from Zeljko Gavric and Mirko Ivanic sealed a comfortable victory for the Serbian champions.

He provided an assist for his side’s third goal of the game in the 45th minute as Katai secured his hat-trick with few minutes to end the first half.

Boakye-Yiadom is yet to score a goal in the 2020/21 season.
