The home team opened the scoring through Jonas Froeiland Nistad, one minute into the start of the game but Sogndal responded quickly as Joakim Berg Nundal scored to pull parity in the game.

Daniel Arrocha netted to extend Sogndal’s lead in the 30th minute mark before the Ghanaian youngster Edmund Baidoo fired home two additional goals in space of four minute to make it 3-1. Baidoo found the back of the net in the 34th and 37th minute marks respectively.

The visitors found the back of the net again few minutes to the halftime break through Oliver Hintsa.

After recess, Nikolas Gudvangen Trollebø pulled one back for the home team before Felix Eriksson scored to seal victory for Sogndal in the 50th minute mark.

Baidoo joined Sogndal in March 2024, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.
