Ghanaian international, Francis Amuzu put up a very good showing on Thursday night when RSC Anderlecht hosted Villarreal in the Europa Conference League.
In the first leg of the Round 16 tie, the talented winger started for the Belgian Pro League club on the left flanks.
While the home team will have a strong start to the game, Villarreal landed the first blow in the 28th minute.
A strike from Manu Trigueros after a very good team play handed the Spanish La Liga club the advantage.
While that goal will separate the two teams at halftime, RSC Anderlecht did not give up.
After the break, Francis Amuzu displayed impressive play on the wings and provided an assist for Anders Freyer to equalise in the 57th minute.
That goal at the end of the 90 minutes has been enough to earn Anderlecht a 1-1 draw against Villarreal in the Europa Conference League contest today.
Midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was a second-half substitute for Anderlecht in the game.
