Ghanaian winger Maxwell Baakoh on target for USM Khenchela in victory over Paradou AC in Algeria top-flight

Former Asante Kotoko winger Maxwell Baakoh registered his name on the scoresheet to help his USM Khenchela defeat Paradou AC in the Algerian top-flight.

The 27-year-old puts up an impressive show to propel his outfit to secure an emphatic 3-0 home win over Paradou in week 21 of the league.

Khenchela shot into the lead through Soufiane Bayazid in the 30th minute mark. Before recess, Ilyes Yaiche scored to make it 2-0 for the host.

After the break, the Ghanaian midfielder found the back of the net to seal victory for Khenchela in the much-anticipated clash.

Khenchela are currently 5th on the league log with 30 points as they chase Africa slot.

Baakoh has been impressive for his side since his arrival, scoring one goal in seven games.

The winger joined Khenchela in August 2022.
