Ghanaian winger Nasiru Mohammed delighted with Levski Sofia’s win against Lokomotiv Plovdiv

Ghanaian winger Mohammed Nasiru has expressed his delight after helping his Levski Sofia outfit to defeat Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Bulgarian top-flight league.

On December 2, 2020, the forward starred while in action for his team and helped the side to cruise to a crucial 1-0 win.

In what was a home win for Levski Sofia, Mohammed Nasiru won the penalty kick that was converted by Nigel Roberta to hand the team the maximum 3 points.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the attacker described the win as a ‘good victory for his team.

“This is certainly a good victory for us. Since the new coach came, his ideas are clear. This victory is very important for us and the whole club,” Mohammed Nasiru noted.

He continued, “We had to train at home during the quarantine. When we returned to the training ground we were in good enough shape. We knew what we had to do. Yes, it was the first in this formation - 3-4-3. It worked. Our coach it says what to do and how to move.”

This season, Mohammed Nasiru has made nine appearances in the Bulgarian top-flight league and has one goal and one assist to his name.
