Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari set to join Black Stars training camp tomorrow after signing with Austin FC

Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari is set to join the Black Stars training camp tomorrow, May 31, after undergoing a medical in Madrid today and completing a transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC.

Bukari, who sought permission from Black Stars head coach Otto Addo to complete the transfer before joining his teammates in Ghana, has been signed by Austin FC on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The MLS side announced the deal on Thursday, May 30, stating that Bukari has joined the club as a Designated Player on a guaranteed contract through the end of the 2027 season, with an option for 2028.

"Austin FC is excited to welcome Osman Bukari to the club," said Austin FC Sporting Director Claudio Reyna in an official statement. "Osman is a talented and versatile winger who has experience playing at a high level in Europe. We believe he will be a great addition to our team and will help us in our pursuit of success on the field."

Bukari, who has previously played for Red Star Belgrade, Nantes, and Lens, will be hoping to make an impact in the MLS and help Austin FC in their quest for success.
