Ghanaian international Abdallah Basit has joined Italian Serie B side Pescara Calcio on loan for the rest of the 2020/2021 football season.

Contracted to Serie A side Benevento, the youngster has not been preview to first-team action since the campaign started.

In a bid to help the player enjoy regular playing time to ensure he continues to develop, Benevento has sanctioned a loan move for the midfielder to Pescara Calcio.

Abdallah Basit, 20, landed in Pescara on Sunday, January 31, 2021, and has today sealed the short loan move for the rest of the season.

In the past, the Ghanaian spent time at Carpi and SSC Napoli during his teen days. He later played for lower-tier side Arezzo before moving on to join Benevento.

At Pescara Calcio, he will hope to play regularly to rediscover his form and continue developing.
