Ghana international Baba Rahman has shared his excitement after reuniting with PAOK this summer.

The Black Stars defender made a return to the Greek outfit after ending his eight-year spell with English giants Chelsea.

The former Augsburg left-back penned a three-year contract that will keep him at PAOK until summer 2026.

Baba Rahman spent six months on loan with PAOK during his time with Chelsea and help the club to annex the Greek Cup.

"First of all I am feeling good to be back. It's nice seeing some old faces, some players I have played with. It's been nice being here," he told the club.

"I think PAOK has always been in contact with me the last few years. I think it is the right move for me. You have to go where you feel desired and wanted. Although I had different offers, I felt PAOK was like a family to me. I spoke with the coach and he expressed his desire to have me here. I feel appreciated," he added.

Having won the Greek Cup in his first stint at PAOK, Baba Rahman is aiming at clinching double this time by winning both the league and the Greek Cup.

"First of all, I really miss the fans. Second I want to play and have fun with because what I saw in Europa League, I saw their game against Schalke and it was nice to see," he said.

"I won the Cup last time but this time I want to win the league and Cup," added the Ghana international.

The Ghana international did not waste much time to join his teammates for preseason as they prepare for the 2023/24 season.
