Ghanaian forward, Emmanuel Boateng has bagged a sensational hat-trick today to help Dalian Yifang post an emphatic 4-0 victory over Tianjin Quanjian in the quarter-finals of the Chinese FA Cup.

The former Levante striker continued his fine form under new manager Rafa Benitez to ensure his side progressed into the semi-finals of the FA Cup competition.

Emmanuel Boateng gave Dalian Yifang the lead on the 26th minute after the side had dominated the match for the most part of the game. Teammate Sun Bo added a second just three minutes before the break.

The victors returned from the break and continued from where they left off. Boateng showed hunger in front of goal and pushed until he scored the side’s third goal on the 80th minute.

Dalian Yifang continued to exert their supremacy on their opponent and were awarded a penalty kick in the dying minutes of the game. In-form Emmanuel Boateng stepped up and calmly converted to complete his hat-trick.

That five-star performance on the day earned him the man of the match accolade at the end of the match.
