Gideon Waja, Ibrahim Imoro on Maxwell Konadu's radar

Ghanaian duo Gideon Waja and Ibrahim Imoro are on the radar of Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu in the on-going transfer window.

Coach Konadu has began his second stint at the club and is interested in signing former WAFA midfielder Waja and Black Stars B left-back Moro.

The Porcupine Warriors have been active in the transfer window in bid to win to the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League title.

Gideon Waja, who last played for Canadian side Toronto II in 2018 is highly regarded by 47-year-old gaffer together with Ibrahim Imoro.

Moro, who plays for Bechem United, was a key cog of the Black Stars B team that finished second at the WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations.

Konadu is reported to have recalled Augustine Sefah, one of the most experienced players, back into the team after he reportedly parted ways with the club.

The Ghana Premier League is expected to kick on the weekend of 27-29 December 2019.
