Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs insists Manchester City can't match United's great modern day teams.
Giggs, who won a record 13 titles with United, claims City must lift trophies consistently before they can be called one of the Premier League's legendary teams.
“| think everyone recognises the football they're playing this year is high up there with some of the best we've seen in the Premier League era," said the Wales boss, speaking as a Laureus ambassador ahead of the 2018 World Sports Awards.
“But I think to compare them to ourselves, Arsenal and Chelsea, you have to win multiple titles. You have to be consistent, not just have one wonder season, which they are having.
“The way they are playing this year, they're capable of doing that. It's up to the other clubs, the likes of United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham to do better next year and to challenge and see how they handle that."
