Prince George Coffie, the former coach of Great Olympics has labelled Gladson Awako as the best midfielder in the Ghana Premier League.
Awako has been instrumental in the club’s rise to form since signing for the team this season.
The Oly Dade boys have gone on to record 10 points from the last 5 games after losing their opening 3 matches with Awako playing a key role.
Prince George Coffie, who worked in close proximity with the player believes his humility and hard work impressed him and believes it will take him places.
“Gladson Awako, I call him my darling boy, he is a fantastic player by all standards, very respectful, very hardworking, very humble…he is always ready to learn and such a player will always go places as far as the game is concerned”.
Coach Coffie also lauded Awako’s qualities as a footballer and hailed him as the league’s best midfielder currently.
“He has been my most outstanding player at Great Olympics, he will always carry the whole team on his shoulders when the going gets tough…I will say he has been my most outstanding player.”
