Godwin Ablordey joins Bibiani Gold Stars as assistant coach

Ghana football legend, Godwin Ablordey has been appointed as the assistant coach for Ghana Premier League side, Bibiani GoldStars FC ahead of the new season. 

Ablordey joins the side after leaving relegated King Faisal.

He will assist coach Michael Osei when the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign starts in September.

Ablordey has gained much experience after acting as head coach for King Faisal following the departure of Jimmy Corbblah early part of last season.

The former Asante Kotoko captain also deputised coach Ignatius Osei Fosu, who led the Isha Allah boys to the delegation.

Gold Stars are keen on improving on their impressive performance last season hence the decision to strengthen their technical team with the appointment of Ablordey.

Bibiani Gold Stars will open their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign with an away game against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
